Welcome to my Woodturnings

Nearly all of my work is in the style of what is called Polychromatic Segmented Woodturning.  In that style of woodturning, many pieces (sometimes hundreds)  of different colored woods are cut, sanded and then glued together to form a shell which is then turned on a wood lathe to create bowls, vases, platters or other objects.

Here you will find several galleries showing some of my work.  Some items are for sale.

And for those who do similar type work or desire to learn I have included some information about my workshop/studio, tools and jigs, and the basic process I use to create my pieces.

I am a member of The American Association of Woodturners as well as The Quad Cities Wood Turners a chapter of the AAW.
